I am preparing to take the GMAT on Saturday September 29, giving me roughly 6 weeks to prepare. I have all of the GMAT official review books by GMAC. I also have the Kaplan GMAT premier course book and the Princeton review cracking the new GMAT. I am also signed up for some on demand classes with Kaplan. I work 50+ hours a week for a mortgage company and usually have 2 to 4 hours each evening to study. My weekends are also usually free. Can you please provide advice on how to best study within 30 days and get a high score in the 650-750 range? Thanks.
For your verbal practice it is essential that you work with the Official Guide for GMAT Review book. No test prep company I have seen has been able to produce verbal practice problems of the same quality as the Official Guide series. Moreover, many test takers have reported that certain question patterns seen in the Official Guide for GMAT Review have been also tested on the real GMAT. So regard these retired questions as a preview of your real test experience.
The GMAT review book is provided with the cost of the course
To study for the GMAT I used the Princeton Review, the Kaplan GMAT Premier, and the Official Guide for GMAT review books. This resulted in a total investment of less than EUR 100 but I think each book helped me in a different way. Besides, an MBA is costing a lot more so spending 100 euros on preparation material is peanuts.
